Ensemble is a collaborative business community in the Near Southside, just south of downtown Fort Worth — founded in 2016 and the first woman-owned coworking space in North Texas.
Why we exist
We don’t sell desks for rent.
We build genuine connections.
Ensemble was co-founded by Tamara Payne and Dawn Shannon in 2016, and is proud to be the first woman-owned coworking space in North Texas. In 2018 Tamara became the sole owner and operator, and ten years on she is still the one making the introductions.
We offer busy entrepreneurs, small businesses and remote workers a warm, welcoming place to be productive, with the resources they need to build a business that lasts. Step inside and you will feel at home: comfortable seating, high-quality workspace, and a team that goes out of its way for members and guests alike.
Our mission is to foster the growth of businesses and the empowerment of individuals by cultivating a thriving ecosystem founded on meaningful connections, purposeful collaboration and a vibrant sense of community.

Our members are called Groupies, and the calendar is built around them: intentional networking, workshops, classes and the occasional taco on the patio.

The Coworkshare Program
Meet the Conductors.
Our Conductors serve the community one day a week and are the first smiling face you see when you arrive. In exchange they receive a full-time membership and business coaching — an on-ramp for emerging entrepreneurs learning to run and grow a company.
The programme has run since November 2016 and has graduated more than twenty business owners to a higher level. We are always looking for the next one.
